Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy early in life, Grabowski navigates a condition marked by impaired muscle coordination, including paralysis in her legs. Rather than allowing these obstacles to define her, she forged ahead with determination and talent. She earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Stetson University and a B.S. in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University, setting the stage for an extraordinary career.

Grabowski is a recipient of both the Christopher Reeve Acting Scholarship Competition award and the Norman G. Brooks Comedy Competition award. Her first major acting break came when she appeared in the film Always Going Up, co-starring alongside legendary actor Tom Cruise. She later garnered recognition for her work in the 2005 film Dangerous Perceptions, which she wrote, produced, and financed. Her television credits also include an appearance on the hit CBS series S.W.A.T. in 2017.

A multi-talented creative, Grabowski has produced three original web series: Life in Limbo as Interpreted by Dawn Grabowski, What’s Your Channel 4 Life?, and Dawn Grabowski: Open Heart. Flat-Chested. Brass Balls!
