The success of their previous fast-fashion brand, Coco Blue Shoes, which was launched during the pandemic, inspired them to take the leap into the world of luxury fashion.

Collins and Pearson, despite having enjoyed two years of success, understood the difficulty of competing with quick fashion companies such as Fashion Nova, which provide identical products at substantially lower rates. As a direct result of this, Anje came to the difficult decision that she would have to close Coco Blue Shoes in July 2022. She then decided to take some time to reevaluate both her professional and business goals. Soon after that, Rogers Pearson was established in September of 2022.
