Dannon Green is a multi-talented comedian, actor, scriptwriter, producer, and director who made his way to Hollywood with his intelligence, wit, and harmless brand of comedy. Green refrains from “momma” jokes as he lost his mother early on in life, and he is not brutal on his audience because he believes his audience is his ally and is usually looking for a good time. Green says you don’t know what people are dealing with, but he says if you come for him, he will come back but won’t slay anyone; instead, make them his friend. Green is known for his signature standup comedy line, “I don’t want no trouble,” witty observations, and relatable humor.

Dannon Green Shares his Roots In Boxing & The Executioners

As a producer and director, Green has tackled his most poignant role. In his latest project, The Executioners, Green revisits his childhood boxing gym in Philadelphia, PA, where he learned to box and maintained a record of 13-3 as an amateur boxer. Green achieved 2nd place in the Junior Olympics. The gym’s combined record is 639-84, with 6 boxers making it to the Olympic trials and Gary Hinton becoming a world champion. The boxing gym itself produced some of the best fighters to date. Despite that, few reached the expected world-renowned status, and Green explores why this happened. The film features Shawn Clark, Lydell Johnson, Shayne Mosely, Mark Brelin, Meldrick Taylor, Malik Scott, Sam Watson, and Russell Peltz. The Executioners is available on Tubi TV and Amazon Prime.
