Aaron Skyy’s Beginnings

Born in Lynnwood, California, and raised in Compton until age six, Skyy’s family moved to Tustin,  California, in Orange County. At three years old, watching his father sing in church, Skyy first developed his love for music. He credits Maxwell, Justin Timberlake, Prince, and Jodeci as some of the musical influences that genuinely made him want to establish a career in music.

The Skyy’s The Limit

Skyy’s musical career officially began at nineteen years of age. In 1997, he made his debut with the release of his first single – The One. In the early 2000s, he signed with Red Ant Records and released his first album, Skyy’s the Limit. Skyy quickly gained attention, and his album sales skyrocketed. His newfound industry success put him on the radar of industry insiders. The singles, The One, and Chocolate became popular hits, defining the moment Aaron Skyy entered the room. Touring with Destiny’s Child

Skyy released the album Frequency, further proving his versatility as an artist. Soon after, he toured with Maxwell, Donell Jones, and Destiny’s Child with Beyoncé.
