Known for her memorable roles in film and television, Berger brings a wealth of experience and insight to the conversation.

Veteran theatrical actress Susan Berger, a Buffalo, NY native, has built a remarkable career spanning decades, captivating audiences worldwide. Her early exposure to international education, combined with a degree from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree from the University of Hawaii, enriched her cultural perspective and artistic excellence.

Straight Out of Broadway

Following graduate school, Berger set out to pursue acting in London but ultimately found herself performing at the Front Street Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee, before making her way to New York. She appeared in numerous regional and Off-Broadway productions of the musical The Robber Bridegroom, establishing herself as a dynamic stage performer.

Macbeth Would Be Proud

One of Berger’s most memorable experiences was her role in Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, a testament to her talent and versatility. Her film credits include Kajillionaire, Looks to Kill, The Dollar King, and  The Legacy of Cloudy Falls. She is on Amazon Freevee’s Jury Duty as Barbara Goldstein. Her extensive TV appearances also feature roles in American Horror Story, Baskets, Mom, Criminal Minds, Bob Hearts Abishola, and Hunters.
